Hosted by Michael Tsang (’83), the program was initiated by Desmond Yip (’81) with the opening welcome from the DSOBA. This was then followed by a video presentation and a Question and Answer session from Selwyn Chan (“77) on the topic of interview skills for application to US universities. Joseph Ngai (’92) subsequently captured the minds of the audience with an insightful and practical talk on key tips for a successful University application.
While the majority of the audience appeared interested in US universities, there was also keen interest in other universities around the world. Other Old Boys representing their Universities on the day included : David Fu (’81) – Oxford University; Gabriel Chan (’95) – Queen’s University; Daryl Leung (‘95) – Macquarie University; Frank Ho (’88) – MIT; Mervyn Chow (’89) – UC Berkeley & Stanford University; Richard Lai (’84) – Stanford University; Donald Lung (’99) – Yale University.
We also would like to extend our appreciation to Mark Rosario, Jenny Tso and Amy AuYeung for their support in helping to make the afternoon activities run so efficiently.
