News from Old Boys in Toronto at CNY 2007:
On Feb 23, 2007, our Old Boys in Toronto had their Lunar New Year celebration. Hong Kong's Steven Chow, Class '64 was there to enjoy their festivities and came back with some pictures of the overseas gang.
Gilbert Wong (' 58) is the "Choy Sun" in one of the photos. He gave each guest a Red Packet with a lottery ticket in it. Perhaps one of them had won the jackpot of CAD 12 million that Friday!
The boys in Toronto meet regularly for dim-sum. The Class of 50's old boys gather in a Toronto restaurant every Tuesday while the wives are invited on the second Tuesdays of each month.
On the first Wednesday of each month, Edmund Choy, Class ’64 has lunch with six retired ‘ 65 old boys. Also attending are Bruce Chan (Class ’57 – his father formerly operated the Radio People, a Stereo/Audiophile store in HK), and two teachers – Sing LAU (“Transistor’) and John LIT Wai-Yu (also Class of ’53). They tend to try a different venue each time.
The group photos include the Old Boys graduating between 1960-1969 and a seperate group of the 50’s graduates. They thoroughly enjoyed themselves with fun and laughter that evening.
