Reginal Hamet, Class Agents of 50's told me a sad news.
Mr. Donald Kotwall, Class of 1958, was passed away on 1 March, 2009 in the age of 69. Donald was the younger brother
of George Kotwall. Donald was once an active DSOBA Sports Club member. He played football well when he studied in DBS.
A funeral service for Donald will be held on 24 March, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. at the Universal Funeral Parlour
at Hung Hom. Old boys may pay your last respect to Donald on 23 March, 2009 after 6:00 p.m. too.
May God bless Donald's family members.
John Goodair, Class of 1958, one of the key persons helping the incorporation of Old Boys' Association during late 70's, passed away on 17 April, 2008. John supported the DSOBA Race Box every week and even when his health was not in sound condition.
The funeral service will be held on 29 April, 2008 at 1:45p.m. at the Universal Funeral Home in Hung Hom. Old boys may pay your last respect to John on Monday, 28 April from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
“Tho’ much is taken, much abides: and tho’
We are not now that strength which in old days
Moved earth and heaven; that which we are, we are:
One equal temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
To strive, to seek, and not to yield.”
— Tennyson, an abridge from BJ Monks poetry class.
No kidding. Can we once again find those youthful faces in the 50’s
and 60’s in the DBS hilltop? A guy with thinning gray hairs was
grinning at me from the mirror this morning. Do I know that guy?
Do not compute eternity,
As light-year after light-year.
One step across that line called ‘Time’,
Eternity is right here.
Time is of our own making,
Its clock ticks in our head.
The moment we stop thought,
Time too stops dead.
Come on, fellows. Let us dance. Let us chat. Let us reconnect.
Warm Regards,
Teddy ’58.
