This annual event serves three purposes:

a) to honour the outstanding achievements of our old boys at this year’s Music Festival, with DBS being awarded the “Outstanding School of the Year”,

b) to raise funds for the school, and

c) to welcome all new students and parents.

The school open house is an annual event for our students to display and show their learning experience with visitors. We hope our guests will be able to experience the unique learning atmosphere of our school. Student performance will be held in the school assembly hall.

DBS 10km FunD Run 2007

Dear parents, teachers, boys, old boys, old-boy parents and friends.

We write to announce on the 6th DBS 10Km FunD Run which will be held on Sunday, 4 March, 2007. We have set out to participate in a community-based event, promote healthy lifestyle, gather all sectors within the DBS family and, in the process, raise fund for the continuous development of DBS.

In the 2006 event, we are proud to be the second largest organisation to participate in the HK Marathon. There were over 500 participants (including primary division students who joined the in-house Pre-run). We collected over HK$ 600,000.00 for the school. We hope the effort of our DBS Athletics Club and secondary school students in the coaching and mentorship to the in-house Pre-run event will inspire primary division students and their parents to again show support this year.

Please also consider the Event Sponsorships as further means to recognise the efforts of our students and everyone participating in the events. We enclose the registration form and other relevant documents for your immediate action. Please register on or before 26 October 06.

Our event will be sponsored by a generous sponsor who will donate to our
school an amount which is equal to the total fund raised by all runners! That
means $1 raised by YOU makes $2! So please try your very best to seek
sponsorship from your families, friends etc. to make our event a great success.

An applicant list for 10km FunD Run 2007 has been released. Runners please
kindly check the information to see if there are any mistakes. Please note
that all runners, except those who are going to take part in Half-Marathon or
Full-Marathon, should be in the category 10km-1.

The DBS Music Department, Diocesan Boys’School Parent-Teacher Association, Diocesan School Old Boys’Association and the DBS Fund Raising Committee proudly present to you - HomeComing Concert 2006.

This annual event serves two purposes:
(a) to honour the outstanding achievements of our boys at this year’s Music Festival - the Senior Boys’ Choir as the Best Boys Choir of the Year, Senior Mixed Choir as the Best Choir of the Year, DBS as the “Best Music School” of the year and (b) to raise funds for the school.

Tickets at $100, $300 and $500 will be on sale through URBTIX on 4^th June 2006 (at any of the 33 URBTIX box office).

As part of the school’s annual fund raising event, you are cordially invited to sponsor the event. The following sponsorship arrangement is available:
