DSOBA 97th Anniversary Dinner 2018

DSOBA 97^th ANNIVERSARY DINNER

This year marks the 97th Anniversary of the Diocesan School Old Boys’ Association “DSOBA”.  In celebration of its anniversary, the DSOBA Annual Dinner will be held at the Convention Hall, Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, Wan Chai on December 1, 2018 (Saturday).  The evening will commence with a cocktail reception at 6:30 pm, followed by dinner and entertainment from 7:30 pm onwards until late.

On behalf of the DSOBA, we would like to cordially invite you, together with your spouse and friends, to join us at this special event.  This year, the Annual Dinner titled Future of DBS will bring you on a journey for a peek of DBS’ future that goes beyond your imagination.  If you are ready to party, to have fun, and to reunite with fellow old boys and friends, this is the day you don’t want to miss!  Tickets are of limited availability, so get yours now before they sell out!

Outdoor Swimming Pool 2018

Dear DSOBA members,

Notice is hereby given that the school outdoor swimming pool will be opened for DSOBA members holding a valid Summer Swimming Pass on Sundays from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. commencing from 15 July 2018.

Pool service will be suspended on severe weather condition under the discretion of the life guard on duty.

Members must present their Summer Swimming Pass when entering the pool gate, and please be reminded that your pass is NOT TRANSFERABLE.

DSOBA AGM 2018

Please be informed that the Annual General Meeting (“AGM”) of Diocesan School Old Boys’ Association Ltd. (“DSOBA”) will be held at The Chinese Club, The Chinese Club Building, 14/F., 22 Connaught Road, Hong Kong on Tuesday, 12 June 2018 at 7:00 pm, to consider the following matters:

1) To receive and consider the Report of the General Committee.
2) To receive and consider the Income & Expenditure Account and the Balance Sheet of DSOBA for the year ended 31 December 2017 and the Auditor’s Report in connection with the same.
3) To elect up to six (6) members to fill the vacated offices of the General Committee.

The following General Committee members are retiring:

4) Ryan Fong 1990

5) Victor Chan 1992

6) Alvin Lo 1996

4) To re-appoint the Auditor of DSOBA and authorize the General Committee to fix their remuneration.

The Annual General Meeting (“AGM”) Dinner will be held on Tuesday, 12 June 2018 at 7:00pm immediately following the AGM of DSOBA Ltd.  This will be a good opportunity for all members and friends to get together in a casual and enjoyable setting.

Dinner Talk with DBS Headmaster Mr. Ronnie Cheng and DBSPD Head Teacher Ms. Phyllis Lo 2018

DSOBA is extremely honored and privileged to have Mr. Ronnie Cheng and Ms. Phyllis Lo as our speakers for the upcoming dinner talk. Mr. Ronnie Cheng is the Headmaster of Diocesan Boys’ School and Ms. Phyllis Lo is the Head Teacher of Diocesan Boys’ School Primary Division. They will be sharing with you their insights and knowledge of “How do we perpetuate an all rounded education at DBS?” 

The presentation format for this year will be more interactive and casual in a forum style discussion. Please do join this enlightening dinner talk for it will be a very memorable one.
