Annual Dinner 2017 – Final Countdown

We are now just over a week away from the DSOBA Annual Dinner and the committee is hard at work with the final preparations to ensure everyone enjoys a wonderful evening! As a gentle reminder, the event will be held at the Convention Hall, Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, Wanchai on December 2, 2017 (Saturday).  The evening will commence with a cocktail reception at 6:30 pm, followed by dinner and entertainment from 7:30 pm onwards until late.

For those who have reserved and completed payment for a table, you should have received an email confirmation from us by now. If you have not received any confirmation, please contact us immediately.

Renewal of Sportsclub Membership 2017

It’s time again for the renewal of your Sports Club membership for the year 2017/18 (from 1 July 2017 to 30 June 2018). The annual subscription is HK$400 per member. For those who are not yet our Sports Club member, now is the time to join. You can enjoy all the facilities offered to us by the school.

Parking Permit renewal 2017

A new Car Parking Label will be issued to replace the existing label. Please note that all existing car parking labels will be declared null and void after 31 August 2017.

DSOBA members who wish to apply for the New School Car Parking Labels (Sundays only), please complete the return slip to Ms. Karen Cheung of the DSOBA office, together with your self-addressed return & stamped envelope. An administration fee of $100 will be made on each extra car parking label and / or to re-issue a lost parking label. Cheque should be crossed and made payable to Diocesan School Old Boys’ Association Ltd.

Gamesday 2017

Dear Members and Friends of DSOBA,

The DSOBA Games Day this year will be held on October 22nd.  Our venue has resumed back to the new school field this year.  The format will be similar to previous years with the traditional running race for kids along with the parents. We will also have the new addition of the soccer academy activities at the beautiful new school field. 

A sumptuous lunch consisting of all sorts of BBQ items and a delicious buffet will be served for your enjoyment.  Please join us with your family and experience this new exciting Games Day format.

Oktoberfest 2017

Dear fellow members,

It’s October and nothing beats to have a real German beer with good old buddies… Oktoberfest 2017 is around the corner so let’s eat, drink and be merry!

HM Dinner Talk 2017

Dear Fellow Old Boys,

DSOBA is extremely honored and privileged to have Mr. Ronnie Cheng and Ms. Phyllis Lo as our speakers for the upcoming dinner talk. Mr. Ronnie Cheng is the Headmaster of Diocesan Boys’ School and Ms. Phyllis Lo is the Head Teacher of Diocesan Boys’ School Primary Division. Poolside Party 2017

Summer is here and the incredibly fun and exciting 2017 DSOBA Annual Poolside Party will take place on Sunday, 27th of August from 1pm to 5pm (rescheduled to 10-Sep-2017), at the DBS Outdoor Swimming Pool.

There will be a sumptuous buffet and gourmet BBQ luncheon to curb your appetite then there will be floating castle, individual and team swimming competitions and water games for different age groups.  Prizes and certificates will be awarded to all the winners. Children will receive water toys as gifts when they enter the party. So please bring your family and friends to enjoy a day of great fun before school starts!
