DSOBA Games Day on 20 September 2015

Dear Members and Friends of DSOBA,

Hope you all had a great summer and are ready for another exciting school year. And the excitement doesn’t stop there as the DSOBA/DBSAC Games Day will be held on the 20th of September (Sunday) from 1pm to 5pm at the School Field. What’s a better way to spend a Sunday with your family and catch up with your friends and classmates.  

This year’s Games Day will feature many track events for all ages. There will be parent/child and open relays. Besides participating in the track competitions, you can also sit back and relax in one of the fan cooled shaded marquees to enjoy a sumptuous buffet BBQ lunch, featuring gourmet steaks, burgers and hotdogs. There will be plenty of prizes and awards for everyone.  There will also be a cotton candy booth to satisfy your children or your sweet tooth and enormous bouncy castles for the younger participants to indulge.  I am sure that you and your whole family will enjoy this special day.

Entry Fee :           $100/person – DSOBA Members (Including spouses and children)

                           $200/person – Friends and Non-Members

“Evening Fiesta at the Carnival”

The Diocesan School Old Boys’ Association (the “DSOBA”) will be holding its 94th Anniversary Annual Dinner at the Convention Hall, Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, Wanchai on 5th December 2015 (Saturday).  The evening will commence with a cocktail reception at 6:30 pm, followed by dinner and entertainment from 7:30 pm onwards until late.  The theme of the event will be : “Evening Fiesta at the Carnival”.

On behalf of the DSOBA, we would like to cordially invite you, together with your spouse and friends, to join us in the annual event. If you are ready to party, to share joy, and to reunite with fellow old boys, this is the day you don’t want to miss !  Tickets are of limited availability, so get yours now before time runs out.  Kindly reserve your seat(s)/table(s) early by completing the attached Annual Dinner 2015 Reservation Form, and returning it to us ASAP.

DSOBA Oktoberfest on 23 October 2015

Our next DSOBA social event will be the fun-filled celebration of festivities for the Oktoberfest. What’s a better way to drink real German beers in huge mugs (provided), eat authentic pork’s knuckle and German sausages all under one tent with great music all night long and most importantly being side by side with your fellow DBS brothers!
