University Day 15 October, 2004 (Saturday) Jointly organized by DSOBA & DBS Careers Office
8 September, 2005
Dear fellow old boys of DBS,
If you would like to find out more about overseas university education for your children, please come along with your children to our "University Day" which will be held at 2:30 PM on 15th October 2005 in the School Hall.
The "University Day" is a valuable opportunity for you and your children to ask questions and gain access to useful information from a group of old boys and university representatives with diverse background and experience.
DSOBA believes that this "University Day", with significant contributions from our school’s Headmaster, Careers Office, Student Council, and many others, would be beneficial for you and your children’s preparation for university life abroad.
You are strongly encouraged to:
mark your diaries, fill in the attached registration form, and bring it with you when you come to the "University Day"; and
invite your children to come along.
We look forward to a successful gathering with enthusiastic parents like you who are keen to prepare your children for the exciting challenges ahead.
The event started off with a tour of DBS Primary Section led by Thomas Chow (’70’) who was architect and designer of the beautiful school complex, and Phyllis Lo (Head Teacher) who guided the tour.
The formal gathering in the school hall was then started by Stanley Fong (’80’), and Terence Chang (headmaster). They keynote speaker was Daniel Fung. …The event continued on with a buffer dinner and class photos at the Prefects dining room.
